Highlights: Koyama, Shige and another person who thinks he's a NEWS member introduce themselves at the start. Shige complains that the steel pan instrument isn't designed for left handed people like him and the order of the notes isn't logical (which is obviously his way of making excuses in case he fails in the concert!), Koyama's sign language skills are so smooth and it's obvious he's put a lot of effort into learning it so that he can talk with the deaf kids he'll be working with. Koyama scolds Shige for trying to use his sexy gaze to pick up high school girls! Ryo's poison tongue is hilarious, but a high school boy ruins it a bit with his simple answer as to why he's so much taller than Ryo is. Yamapi loves seeing a lady with painted toe nails that match her t-shirt and seems to be well-known by women all over Japan, but the old fishermen don't really care who he is!

Highlights: Yamapi & the other people in the little box at the bottom of the screen are adorable in this clip, especially when you seem them trying to make the shapes of animals with their hands. The way Koyama truly cared for the kids and spent so much time just chatting to them in sign language was beautiful to watch. And the way they all kept looking towards Koyama after the show was over made me realize how much they trust him & how important he had become to them. When Koyama signed the meaning of the song to them as they sat clutching their balloons, my heart just melted. And I'd just like to point out that I know the part about Koyama playing a penguin could be interpreted to mean either he's playing a daddy penguin or a mommy penguin, but for some reason it just didn't feel right to write "daddy." Koya-mama as a mama penguin is just so much more natural! *I think I may have gender issues when it comes to Koyama! Ha ha* I'm glad the girl from the idol group SPEED who has a deaf son was also able to be there to see the beautiful hand shadow show.

Highlights: "If you have the will to try it, anything is possible!" Yamapi is adorable when he acts so natural & comfortable at his friend's house and later when he's asked how confident he feels! His friend's letter is a real tear-jerker. Kame seemed to react nicely most of the time in the little inset box at the bottom of the screen. This is one of the few times Ryo appears during the show too. Well, his body was there at any rate, but it sure didn't look like his soul was present at all! At the end Kame & Yamapi perform "Seishun Amigo" and I sing at the top of my lungs because it's such a great song to sing along with!

The way he pats her head is so adorable. I never thought Tegoshi would be such a good hugger.

By the way, this clip is one of the reasons why I'd asked if Ryo was sick in one of my earlier posts. He'd looked really healthy and well in this part when he was in the studio (at least to me.) But then he disappeared for a lot of the rest of the show & seemed like zombie by the end of it.
