Please Mr. Johnny, make up your mind if YOU Bye are a properly debuted group or not (and what their name is! Do they have "Nakayama" in the group name or not?! It keeps changing all the time...!) and at least TRY to make it seem like we're supposed to care about the back-up dancer boys & let us hear their names or something instead of making if so obvious that really it's a HSJ re-debut solo debut with some back dancers tagging along for the ride.

"FNS Kayosai" is an annual end of year show where a lot of singers dress up in evening dresses & suits and sit around banquet-style tables looking a bit bored & tired while other singers sing snippets of hit songs from that year under over-the-top chandeliers.

Highlights: The group doesn't get to be in the studio performing and instead are outside in front of the Fuji TV studio in the freezing cold. And hey, wasn't that round-faced boy that got some camera time at the end that newbie kid that amused me from the YOU BYE group debut disaster earlier this year? I've forgotten his name, but I had the feeling it was something like Yugo, because I remember thinking "You go (away and take the rest of your poor backdancers with you)!!" when I heard his name ans saw how neglected him and his backdancer friends were!

Highlights: Nothing in particular, really. Although I did like seeing Jin & MatsuJun getting on so well together and of course I love all the great Johnnys songs that we get to here in such a short space of time. Also it must have been a New Years miracle to see Tackey and Tsubasa on the same stage together! And I can't help but wonder if the lack of an appearance by that Nakayama And His Backdancers group meant that they are no longer really considered a properly debuted group. And I know I'm going to get in trouble for writing this, but it always amuses me how Kanjani8 is usually left out of Johnnys get-togethers. I wonder if they were deliberately made to be miles away so that none of the older Johnny had to give them any New Years money! That's my conspiracy theory at any rate!
