These kids are all so adorably innocent!

Let's learn to use softsubs (for now because it makes life so much easier for me than having to spend hours making the hardsubbed versions!)
Tutorial on using Aegisub (.ass) softsubs:
1. Basically you need to download VobSub from http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/subtitle_tools/vobsub.cfm
or the CCP Codec Pack http://www.cccp-project.net/
or the K-lite Codec Pack http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm
2. Make sure your raw file & the softsubs have the same name
eg. HSJhasmorethan1song.avi (is your "raw" file - the video file) + HSJhasmorethan1song.ass (softsub file)
3. The subtitles should then show up automatically when you play the video
4. Note: If you're using a Mac, 1) download VLC, or 2) download Perian to use with Quicktime (although the Perian thingy may not work with the type of subtitles I release). Thanks to jackoweskla for the Mac tips

Highlights: NYC seem to get on well and be interesting enough to watch, but the other back-up dancers seem kind of pointless and personality-less. Chinen & Yamada seem very mature for their age, despite also having a fun childish streak that they don't try to hide. But it seems that NYC aren't compatible based on the rock-scissors-paper method of working out how good they will be together! On the bright side, this CD should sell well by the time the billion back-up Johnnys Jr's parents/grandparents/uncles/aunts etc. go out and buy a copy to see a glimpse of their kids dancing in the background.

Please Mr. Johnny, make up your mind if YOU Bye are a properly debuted group or not (and what their name is! Do they have "Nakayama" in the group name or not?! Lowlight: (Is that the opposite of highlight???) Massu's clown outfit!! Polka-dot shirt [which turn out to be hearts when you see it closer up], a yellow bow tie and overalls/dungarees-like things with suspenders/braces as well. Ah, Massu....!

Highlights: This is the episode where Shige does the strip tease! Watching Koyama literally fly in front of him to stop him as he's starting to undo his belt buckle is classic! NEWS talk about times when they've cried. Shige says that the other members wiped away his tears for him... awwww~! Question? perform a couple of great songs, Yabu gets a sexy song to sing (even though he has the sex appeal of a goldfish!) and A.B.C. have a new song that sounds nice but has a rather forgettable dance (considering they are usually the best dancers in the Jrs.) The show ends with HSJ going for the world record of number of people on stage at one time - as if they didn't already have enough members in their group, they also had a billion Jr backdancers and even the audience up on the stage too!

Tegoshi annoys Yabu, and Massu accuses Hikaru during the game segment where it's Hey!Say!BEST wo Abake (Expose HSB). I loved how embarrassed Yabu got about everyone saying how he cries like a baby, hugs Hikaru when he's crying, is scared of frogs, and squeals like a girl when Tegoshi teases him! They ask HS7 what they've most scared of during the Jr ni Q corner and it seems that eggplants, pet dogs and mothers are the scariest things they can think of.

And the way he let Hikaru pet up his hair and say "Good boy" as if he was talking to a puppy was so adorable. Oops, enough of the fangirling and back to the highlights section... The game segment was "What's in the box?" which was as funny as usual. And HSJ were funny with the way they walked out on Hikaru when it was his turn to talk about his fear of cats.

Highlights: Someone should make Yamapi re-watch this episode & see how handsome he used to be - and hopefully make him want to go back to his old handsome hairstyles instead of perming his hair to smithereens! Kusano seems to enjoy teasing Shige and I think Ryo gets jealous of Kusano in the very final song & decides to act like he's with Tegoshi to try to get back at Yamapi for ignoring him! (I've noticed this a lot lately, but Ryo seems to be really possessive of Pi and not like to share him. Could someone please get Ryo a long-term girlfriend so he doesn't always act so clingy to the few people he's opened his heart to!?) Massu's dancing reminds me of MC Hammer but is fabulous nonetheless (and it's probably the only time I've ever thought of him as being sexy!) The game part is Who is Mr. X with Kame doing a special video message as Mr. X's friend. Yamapi's solo songs are always lovely to listen to & I like the lyrics he writes because they're so positive (unless they're in English, in which case they're sex crazy nonsense! Case in point: MOLA...!!)

Senga & one of the other Kis-My-Ft boys read letters to each other with their usual sweet, but funny style. The game segment was about passing around huge balls and throwing small ones into a basket. But most of the show seemed to be about Jrs that I'd never seen before singing songs I'd never heard of. And since when is it okay for the Jrs to lipsynch on this show!?
