Highlights: Arashi host the event this year (let's hope they let someone else better try next year!) There are a lack of Johnnys there at the start and half of them are beamed in from wherever they are doing concerts or rehearsals in other parts of Japan. The last 20 minutes or so when they mix up all the groups is as good as always. It's lovely to mix-and-match Johnnys boys!

Raw file: Google "Johnnys Countdown 2008 download" and you'll see 3 or 4 places where you can download it from on the first 3 pages of results. I have no idea if these subs work with the HQ file or not. I expect they should, but the sizes may be weird. I used a 706 MB file as my raw.

By the way, special thanks to the random Japanese mama who I sat next to on the plane yesterday who let me copy the raw file she'd been bringing to give to her daughter. Yay for kind strangers and random conversations that lead to amazing discoveries such as the fact that she had a raw copy of this concert on a disc in her handbag!
