EPISODE 1 : INTRODUCTIONS & CROSSDRESSING
Tackey has lost his voice, Yamapi gets felt up. Yamapi is a shrimp & has a gay fanclub, Aiba is Mr. Popular & Perfect. Yamapi wears a pink skirt~~~! Yamapi still in his pink skirt and gets asked out by a guy. Aiba plays with finger puppets, Yamapi gets whacked on the head. Tackey teaches us how to cook rice crackers

EPISODE 2 : JOANNA PLAYS BASKETBALL
Akanishi Jin asks a girl out on a date, making Yamapi faint. Yamapi gets named "Joanna", Jin finalizes the date plans. Yamapi fits Cinderella's shoe & then charms a boy. Yamapi & Aiba play basketball. Tackey kisses Yamapi~~~!!!!!

EPISODE 3 : THE MYSTERY 1
Yamapi dreams of girls undressing themselves! Aiba lies in bed with Yamapi, Yamapi folkdances. A girl swoons in Yamapi's arms, Aiba becomes a target. Aiba's life is in danger! Tackey eats natto, Yamapi saves Aiba's life

EPISODE 4 : THE MYSTERY 2
Yamapi learns his crush's name is Bobby. Aiba is attacked and hospitalized. Yamapi & Aiba lay in bed together (again), Nakamaru is a baddie. Yamapi & Aiba talk about love, Tackey eats noodles

EPISODE 5 : KISS~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!
Yamapi pretends to kiss us, Aiba & Yampi kiss part 1 ~. Aiba kisses Yamapi part 2 ~. Yamapi gets locked in a room with a girl. Aiba prevents Yamapi from getting his first kiss. Tackey pulls a prank on 2 Jrs.

EPISODE 6 : SCHOOL UNIFORMS & KIDNAPPING
Aiba teaches Yamapi how to kiss. Yamapi wears a girl's school uniform~~! Aiba gets slapped! Aiba & Yamapi run to the rescue. Aiba falls for Yamapi's girl

EPISODE 7 : THUNDERSTORM
Tackey shows hats from Arashi's Matsujun & Kanjani8's Murakami Shingo. Yamapi gets hugged by a girl. Aiba gets hugged to death and talks about big boobs. Aiba & Yamapi run through the school at night. Tackey performs his 5 favorite gags

“Ppoi!” is a girls comic written by Yamazaki Takako. It was first serialized in “LaLa” in 1991, then later in other magazines. Yamashita Tomohisa starred in the drama version in 1999, but it was never released on video or DVD.

Plot
Amano Hei is a third grade boy in junior high who is short and looks like a girl at first glance. But on the inside he is masculine with a strong spirit and he hates to lose. The story focuses on Hei and his best friend, Banri and sees their worries about love. It is a story of youth which includes both comical and serious themes.

Screened on Nippon TV on Sunday mornings from 9th May, 1999 to 27th June, 1999. There were a total of 8 episodes.

Characters
* Amano Taira (nicknamed Hei)
The main character. His nickname is from the first character of his name (“Taira” can also be pronounced “Hei” in Japanese.) He’s in the third grade of Higashi Number 1 Junior High School. At first glance he comes across as a pretty girl, but he also has a masculine side. He is brave and has a strong sense of justice. His personality prevents him from leaving people who need his help, even if it’s his first meeting with them. Because he tends to act first without thinking things through, he is often mixed up in different troubles. He likes Hinaki. He’s in the basketball club.
* Kusaka Banri
He’s in the third grade of Higashi Number 1 Junior High School. Hei’s classmate and best friend since childhood. A super guy who is good at study, sports, and even has the perfect family. He is the most popular boy at school and even has his own fan club! Is considerate and has good manners, yet often has run-ins with Hei because of his personality of nor showing his true feelings. * Sagami Makoto
She’s in the third grade of Higashi Number 1 Junior High School. Hei’s classmate. She is candid and helpful, yet also has a reckless side when it comes to her own actions, often bringing those around her down. She is Hinaki’s best friend. She likes Hei, too. Member of the kendo club.
* Hanashimada Eitatsu
He’s in the third grade of Higashi Number 1 Junior High School. Is a very powerful guy who will use people to get what he wants. He is outgoing and helpful and others rely on him. He likes Makoto. Is the captain of the basketball team.
* Takaoka Torao
He’s in the third grade of Tsubamenose Junior High School. Captain of the basketball team. He has known Hanashimada since he was young. Before learning that Hei was a boy, he fell in love with her (him?) at first sight. Since then we spends his days dreaming about girls with Hei’s face and anguishing over it. Banri uses that to his advantage.
